slamarcaThe Ivanhoe Garden Club is celebrating 120 years this year. We are a very old garden club with an amazing history.
We are planning to celebrate across the year in a range of ways.
Instead of the usual club meeting in June we are creating a special night as the the club was formed in June 1906.
A decorated cake, historical display, catered supper and a large raffle will all be part of the evening. We are thrilled to have Vasili Kanidiadis (Host of Vasili’s Garden) as our guest speaker and the night will be conducted by our MC, Bill McGillivray (Community Radio and past president of Nillumbik Garden Club).
We are creating a new seed library as part of the years celebrations and planning an Open Garden event in November featuring member’s gardens. Details to follow as the year unfolds.
